August 16, 2007 / Especially good vocational college Luovi

 

The Kaprakka and Merikoski vocational training centers and Hoikka college have joined forces and are now Finland’s biggest vocational special education institute, Ammattiopisto Luovi. Luovi is part of Pulmonary Association Heli and operates in 18 locations, providing coaching and rehabilitating training as well as vocational basic and adult education and folk high school courses.

2006 was a good year for Oulun Puhelin. The number of Baana subscription increased as much as 30%, for example. At the end of the year, the customers of Oulun Puhelin had more than 38,000 broadband subscriptions. The company profit improved 4.1 million euros from the previous year, totaling 15.1 million euros after incidentals.

On January 26th 2007 in Helsinki, PKC Group was awarded for reaching second place in the Best Investor Pages in the Web competition in the medium-sized company category. ”The jury finally ranked PKC Group higher than Pöyry by a narrow margin, because PKC provided better information about insider holdings, for example. The PKC site was also clearer and more individual,” states the Talouselämä newspaper.

 

 

January 10, 2007 / Fair winds in Oulu port
