The Yritystele autumn season campaign has increased visibility and strengthened the position of the service as the foremost business directory in Finland. Electric hockey sweat!
The renewed KiekkoKaleva – Kaleva newspaper’s electric hockey service – hits like Jere’s slap shot. The hottest media in the hockey-loving Finland was tuned up in the Työmaa works in summer 2007. Especially good vocational college Luovi
The Kaprakka and Merikoski vocational training centers and Hoikka college have joined forces and are now Finland’s biggest vocational special education institute, Ammattiopisto Luovi. Luovi is part of Pulmonary Association Heli and operates in 18 locations, providing coaching and rehabilitating training as well as vocational basic and adult education and folk high school courses.

Baana subscriptions increased 30%
2006 was a good year for Oulun Puhelin. The number of Baana subscription increased as much as 30%, for example. At the end of the year, the customers of Oulun Puhelin had more than 38,000 broadband subscriptions. PKC has second best investor pages
On January 26th 2007 in Helsinki, PKC Group was awarded for reaching second place in the Best Investor Pages in the Web competition in the medium-sized company category. ”The jury finally ranked PKC Group higher than Pöyry by a narrow margin, because PKC provided better information about insider holdings, for example. The PKC site was also clearer and more individual,” states the Talouselämä newspaper.

Fair winds in Oulu port
... the success started by Herman Andersson’s import campaign continues! The Oulu port total traffic reached three million tons for the first time in 2006 and container traffic exceeded 30,000 TEUs. The import campaign, started in October/November 2004 and implemented by Työmaa, started a growing trend – the import volume has been steadily growing ca. 40% annually ever since and the growth is still continuing. Cheers to Tuuli!
Katajanokka’s gift to Työmaa, Tuuli Laakso (24), was awarded as the young North-Finnish advertisement designer of the year in the Advertiser’s Day event. Tuuli designed the exotic Christmas island theme which brought Christmas atmosphere to Stockmann’s One Way shops throughout Finland last year. The jury commended the campaign for up-to-date typography, among other things.

The new image of Oulun Puhelin that was launched in the summer, restructuring the products and services into three main groups (Digi-TV, Baana Laajakaista and Puhe&Mobiili) as well as restoring the name from OPOY back to Oulun Puhelin have been effective steps, as also surveys indicate. Design-Talo has chosen Työmaa as its strategic partner.
