Honorary mentions went to student Milla Vesilahti from the University of Lapland and AD-assistant Mikko Korkala from Työmaa. Design VALKEA’s graphic designer Lasse Lakela got the Jury’s special mention from his graphical approach and good use of typography. The first guide to enter the App Store was Mondo city guide to Tokyo. It was such a hit, that it took the number one spot in Finland’s App Store’s travel category right after its launch week. Guides for Berlin and New York are also already available. Raiku radio idea competition winning Black box-spots were the campaign’s spearhead and the inspiration for the visuals. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The spots are supported with a brand new website. The website’s gloomy look took over a Facebook page as well as materials for the campaign’s water safety tour. If someone is wondering about the orange logo, it’s the box’s actual color in real life.&lt;/p&gt;

The result is The Doc: The First Cut – an interesting Finnish debut album that will probably captivate every friend of cool pop, soul and jazz.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The cover art of The Doc's debut album, released in mid-December, is by Mr. Levy and the photos are by Pasi. The first milestone of the co-operation is the spring 2011 joint application campaign, which kicks off in February-March. The versatile and multifaculty Savonia has been awarded for the level of its teaching in many subjects. The competition ranks promising under thirty years old designers who work in marketing communications in Northern Finland. Participants enter the Young Designer of the Year competition with jobs genuinely produced for customers, and the preliminary jury selects the three best ones for the final. This year, the best from the three top entries was selected by Eka Ruola, creative director of Hasan&amp;Partners. In the six-year history of Mainostajan Foorumi and the competition, this is the fourth time the Young Designer of the Year prize has been awarded to Työmaa. After the Red Nose Day broadcast, almost 1.9 million euros had been collected by November 8th 2010 for the benefit of children in developing countries.&lt;/p&gt;
