Työmaa shortlisted for Kaiku radio award

The Raiku radio idea contest winner ”Musta laatikko” is hunting awards again. This time it’s on the Kaiku radio awards’ shortlist. The winners will be announced in January at Radiomedia’s Radio Gala. Go on and listen to ”Musta laatikko” and the other 20 contestants on the shortlist. Let’s keep fingers crossed for Työmaa until January.

Työmaa turns talents into top players

The Advertisers’ Forum awarded Työmaa’s AD-assistant Esa Kivelä as the Young Designer of the year. Honorary mentions went to student Milla Vesilahti from the University of Lapland and AD-assistant Mikko Korkala from Työmaa. Design VALKEA’s graphic designer Lasse Lakela got the Jury’s special mention from his graphical approach and good use of typography. Esa is the sixth Young designer of the year to bring the award to Työmaa.

Time to do business in Oulu

BusinessOulu is set to generate new business in the Oulu region. The aim is to create more jobs by networking local companies for cooperation. Focus industries are coordinated as clusters in order to foster growth and internalization. The finnish site, that wraps up all business areas in Oulu, is done by Työmaa.

Mondo via Työmaa to iPad

Työmaa had the honor to design and implement the first and widest Finnish travel guide series to iPad – Mondo city guides from A-lehdet. The first guide to enter the App Store was Mondo city guide to Tokyo. It was such a hit, that it took the number one spot in Finland’s App Store’s travel category right after its launch week. Guides for Berlin and New York are also already available. They are waiting for the whole Mondo city guide family to join them on the iPad.
