Ok Go joins a seminar in Oulu

Ok Go – the band that has attracted millions of views on Youtube – will take part in a seminar about digital marketing and sharing music, by discussing about their successful videos. The seminar is a part of the Oulu Music Video Festival, where the band is headlining. Työmaa plays an active role in organizing the seminar together with NFFC, CIE and Dimeke.

Movie night

Työmaa took some clients to the movies to see the Freetime Machos documentary. The evening continued in restaurant Puistola, which is built where Oulu’s first movie theater once located. Some local delicacies were served with appropriate drinks. Photos of the event available here.

Juniors to Finals!

Junior team of Työmaa, Uula Muoniovaara and Lauri Borén, made their way to the final in the Raiku radio idea contest. The task this year was to plan a radio ad for the Water Safety Work Group’s Viisaasti vesillä campaign.

Reaching the finals was a great achievement. This year there were more applications than ever before, altogether 135 scripts. The judges picked up three finalist scripts which will be produced into complete spots.

The final spots will be published, and Finnish marketing professionals will pick their favourite at the M&M night on April 22nd in Helsinki. A public vote is open between April 23rd and May 7th over the Internet. On May 11th the Water Safety Work Group will choose a winner which will be broadcasted over 54 radio stations.
